STOUFFVILLE MEETING

Once again, we had a great turnout for the Stouffville meeting, including one new member who saw the article in the Stouffville Sun-Tribune and decided to come check us out.

Welcome to Ulrika, who is, like the rest of us, a 'knitting junkie'. Can't sit still without knitting needles or a crochet hook in her hand. She showed us one of the tote bags she's made - beautiful work! She's going to make a couple of bags with strawberries on them for the Strawberry Festival.

Here are some of the projects that were donated this month:

A blanket, two hats and a scarf from Margret

A lovely blanket from Sue

Barb's latest - great way to use up that tangerine orange!

At long last, Monica finished her final afghan of the winter

A gorgeous round blanket from Donna

Pat found this blanket at a yard sale and couldn't pass it up. Thanks to the anonymous person who made it. They may never know of the good use it will go to!

Thanks to everyone for coming to the meeting and giving such wonderful items.

Remember that our Garage Sale is coming up on May 28th and Knit In Public Day will be celebrated on June 11 at the Richmond Hill Heritage Festival.
